Who are you guys?
Merch Lackey is a full-service merchandising and licensing company. We do printing, tour service, wholesale, and e-commerce for bands, record labels, and various other companies. Merch Lackey is run by musicians who have been in the business for many years. We are now trying to make things easier for bands to make merch and fans to buy merch.
How do I order?
On-line! We here at Merch Lackey have tried to build a pretty darn easy on-line ordering system. So just give it a shot and see what happens. If you ever have any questions, please e-mail our customer service department or call us at 858-408-9982. Be sure to have your order number ready.
Can I order over the phone?
Yes, we will take your shipping and credit card information over the phone if that is easier for you. We also accept check or money orders if you are uncomfortable ordering with a credit card.
Is this site secure?
Yes! Merch Lackey uses Link Point International to protect the credit card data while it is in transit over the internet. We do not store CC numbers on our web server or anywhere in our office. We do not share or sell your information.
What if an item is out of stock?
If an item is out of stock, and the computer hasn't already told you, we will e-mail you to let you know it has been back-ordered, and give you an approximate time of when it will be in stock and sent out. If you ordered more then one item, they will all be held up.
When will you charge my card/Why hasn't it been charged?
Your credit card will be charged when your order is shipped, unless your order is a "pre-order" which are charged before they are shipped.

WHY?
We do not keep your credit card information for longer than 1 month, pre-order wait time exceeds that amount of time.

What is your return/exchange policy?
Return Policy -
ALL RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE.
YOU MUST SEND THE ITEM BACK TO US VIA UPS (COMES WITH TRACKING), OR USPS WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.

All poster sales are final.
We charge a 20% restocking fee for all returns. We only accept items that have not been used, worn, or washed. If you have further questions, please email customer service before sending the return.

All poster sales are final.
We charge a 10% processing fee for all exchanges. There are a few simple steps for exchanging items:

1. Please visit the store that contains the item you would like as a replacement. Be sure that the item is currently available for sale.

2. Return the item to us by shipping it to:

3. Include a check or money order made out to Merch Lackey to cover the cost of return shipping of the new item plus the 10% exchange fee. If you are unsure, you can calculate the shipping costs on-line by adding the desired item to your shopping cart, and clicking the "see rates" button.

4. Include a copy of the original invoice and/or a DETAILED NOTE describing the item which you would like in exchange for the returned item.

5. Please be patient as we process the exchange and provide you with some new goods. Be sure to allow for shipping time in each direction, and a day or two for us to process the exchange.

Can I mail in an order?
Of course! Here is how:
1. Just Shop on-line and print out your order form OR download, print, and fill out our Mail Order Form.

2. Include payment (including the shipping costs).

Do you ship overseas?
Yes! Merch Lackey will ship to most countries, though some countries have been excluded because of a high occurrence of fraud.
Shipping: How long will my order take?
We are based in San Diego, so your ship time will depend on your proximity to Southern California. If you are in the US we can ship your orders via UPS or USPS. San Diego and Los Angeles area residents usually receive their order in 1 to 3 days.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

International orders are shipped USPS Priority International Class. We now offer USPS First Class International Mail, but please know we are not responsible for lost packages by USPS, to be able to get tracking information, please use Priority Mail or UPS. The customs process is highly unpredictable, international orders can take anywhere from one to four weeks to arrive at their destination.



WE CAN ONLY GUARANTEE DELIVERY IF YOU CHOOSE UPS or USPS Priority.

We are not responsible for failed deliveries by the US Postal Service.

USPS First Class Mail delivery times are extremely unpredictable (both domestic and international).

IF YOU CHOOSE FIRST CLASS MAIL WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SLOW OR FAILED DELIVERIES.

First Class Mail is the cheapest option for a reason.

UPS is more expensive, but it is the only way we can track a package to you.

How do I set up my own Merch Lackey store? How much does it cost?

What currency do you use?
All sales are in US dollars.
Change Order or Address
In the event you need to change your items or shipping/billing information, we will try to change this information before sending out your order. However, as we try to get orders out as soon as possible, the order may have been shipped already. We will do our best, but do not guarantee changes to an already placed order. Contact us asap!
Backordered Items
Please expect a 5-20 day delay in receiving your order.

We will not ship your order until ALL of the items are available. If one of the items in your order are backordered, your WHOLE order will be delayed.

WANT THE AVAILABLE ITEMS SHIPPED?

You can "SPLIT" your order. Which means you will be receiving 2 packages. One will be of the available items, and the second of the backordered item when it becomes available.

Please be aware that splitting an order will cause you to incur an extra postage cost since we are shipping you 2 packages. This amount will vary, depending on the shipping option you would like.

If you already know you want to split your order at the time of placing your order please add: "ATTENTION SHIPPING: PLEASE SPLIT MY ORDER"
Don't worry about overpaying for shipping, if we know of a more sensible shipping option combination to save you $$ we will contact you.

What is your privacy policy?
Pre-Order (preorder) policy
When your order contains a pre-order item (something you buy now but doesn't ship till later) all other items included in that order will not ship until the pre-order goes out.
Can I check if my order was shipped?
How do you know when a drummer is at your door?
The knocking starts slow, then speeds up, and they don't know when to come in.
